Bar Evelyn is a neighbourhood Italian bar at the southern end of the Gold Coast. Our pizza starts with a naturally leavened sourdough base, fermented slowly and fired hot. Pasta is rolled fresh each day, the antipasti follows the seasons, and the wine list leans natural: small growers, honest bottles, nothing fussy.

Naturally leavened, long-fermented dough. Blistered crust, light centre, classic and seasonal toppings.

Fresh Made Pasta

Rolled and cut in-house daily: cavatelli with Ballina pipis, rollatini, whatever the week calls for.

Natural Wines

Minimal-intervention bottles from small growers, with visiting winemakers pouring from time to time.

Burrata, kingfish crudo, little plates to share, and tiramisù if you make it that far.
